Ann Marshall
As principal of Design Division, Ann anchors the architectural leg of the firm. Being a LEED certified professional with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Auburn University, and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Harvard University, Ann is able to leverage 33 years of her architectural experience to the firm’s projects. Through her architectural work outside of the firm which runs parallel to her work with Design Division, she has extensive experience designing numerous building types while incorporating sustainable principles. Her work within DDI as part of the team, focuses on concept development, designing and detailing exhibit spaces, and casework.
Michael Hanke
Michael brings more than 35 years experience in the fields of exhibition design and museum master planning to his role as principal of Design Division. He has utilized his background in fine arts, his Industrial Design degree from Pratt Institute, and an interest in architecture, history, and the natural world, to develop memorable interpretive design solutions. With in-depth knowledge of many different materials and processes related to the production of exhibits, he personally supervises all aspects of interpretive development and design for the firm, and leads teams of consultant specialists tailored to the needs of each project.
