Client: Brooklyn Historical Society
Budget: $800,000
The theme of the exhibit was challenges and triumphs of working in Brooklyn over the past 400 years. The design solution featured dramatic theatrical re-creations of historic spaces in Brooklyn that played host to an exhibit storyline enlivened with artifacts, unpublished photographs, first-person accounts, artwork, film, and other media programs. The replica environments provided an enriching interpretive context and created discrete gallery spaces for each time period.
